This painting is called "The Watering Hole"! It is an oil painting on a board. This painting was inspired by a picture from a nature calendar. It is amazing how you can capture both feeling and mood with the eyes. I look at this wolf, and I wonder what has startled him and interrupted his drink of water. All I know is that whatever it was...it better not move.
